Production and employment skill training are key elements at Reconstructing Life. An essential component for either key element to be successful is to implement as much emphasis on safety being first and most important. The environment at Reconstructing Life will be exposing the participant daily to sounds that involves loud, powerful heavy machinery and equipment. With so many activities happening all at once, being alert and aware of surroundings is vital not just for the individual but peers that may be nearby also. Acquiring OSHA training will play a beneficial role for the participant at the facilities
As any company or program is required basic safety precautions and awareness trainings are a necessity. No one ever wants to experience a sudden injury or illness which in some cases may be life-threating in the workplace or for that matter anywhere. At Reconstructing Life it will be a requirement of all participants to go through OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration) standards 10-hour training. Upon completion of the OSHA 10 hour course the participant will receive a 10 Hour Training Certificate
Drug & Alcohol Prevention
Reconstructing Life is a participant in the Drug Free Workforce Program. Affiliation with local hospitals in Dayton & Cincinnati as well as the Tri- Health networks in both cities will be established to supply our participants with quality health care services in case of an emergency. These facilities may also be utilized as a part of random drug & alcohol testing. Testing will be required if any participants of Reconstructing Life displays suspicious actions during or before participating in the Direct Training Program.
