Participants of Reconstructing Life will learn the process of sorting and identifying CD&D (Construction Demolition & Debris), for recycling into new material that can contribute and be utilized towards new products. These materials could consist of concrete, asphalt, tires and ground yard waste which could be transformed into tennis courts, processed pebbles and urbanite, rubber mulch and wood pellets.
While experiencing On Job Training participants will also work hands on with heavy equipment and machinery like excavators, backhoes, bobcats, recycling processors and more. This is the type of training that can help you reach goals and explore opportunities in the construction and recycling industry. Become inspired to enter the field through hands on experiences or striving towards receiving specialized certifications or licenses.
